Eileen Farnon

Eileen Farnon is the Outbreak Investigation Task Force Coordinator in the Center for Global Health at Institut Pasteur Paris.  A board-certified Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medical specialist, she served as a Medical Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), working on arboviral diseases, viral hemorrhagic fevers, parasitic diseases, and global health.  Dr. Farnon responded to numerous international and domestic outbreaks of emerging infectious diseases.  Dr. Farnon joined Institut Pasteur in 2017, where she is coordinating the training and involvement of Pasteur scientists in international outbreak responses within the Pasteur network, through WHO/GOARN, and the ALERRT consortium.
